Please join the Japanese Program for a screening of the wonderful film Before the Coffee Gets Cold featuring subtitles by students in the UWM Japanese Program. This film is based on the best-selling book of the same name.

This screening is the third in a semester-long series showcasing the work of students in the Japanese Program course Japan 361: Translating Japanese Media. In the course, students work in teams to subtitle feature length Japanese films that are not commercially available in the US and do not have commercially available English subtitles.
