In partnership with the Institute for Global Studies at the University of Minnesota, the Institute of World Affairs recently held an inspiring three-day interactive educator workshop at UWM with K-12 teachers from Minnesota and Wisconsin to explore ways to incorporate global issues and youth changemaking into any grade level or content area.
The workshop was facilitated by Ilan Enverga, a K-12 educator & Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocate from the International School for Better Beginnings in Lucena City, Philippines. It also featured a panel discussion from young global changemakers in the Milwaukee community and a presentation from Amber West from Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT).
