Refugees and Asylum Seekers from Afghanistan in Milwaukee

The August 15, 2021, Taliban takeover of Afghanistan forced the displacement
of millions internally, in the region, and across the globe. This symposium
explores the impact of those who were resettled in the Milwaukee area. We
will hear from Afghan community members about their migration experiences.
