On April 8th, graduate students from across UWM came together for Art Speaks: A Graduate Symposium Across Disciplines.

Nadia Campbell (Art History), Olivia Bouthot (Mathematics), Meg Gourley (Dance), Adela Fazio (Nursing), and Kathryn\u00a0Milschewski\u00a0(Library and\u00a0Information\u00a0Science) were selected from among 20 applicants to share how Salvador Dali\u2019s\u00a0Cerberus:\u00a0the\u00a0Dog of Hell\u00a0<\/em>inspired them from the points of view of their disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students integrated ideas across each other,\u00a0demonstrating\u00a0the impact on a public audience created by an interdisciplinary focus, in this case with a work of art as the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
