The UWM Alumni Association is pleased to announce its 2020 Alumni Award winners. The 22 alumni recipients and two corporate partners were chosen for awards based on their outstanding professional achievements, civic involvement and partnerships with the university.
Among the honorees is SOIS Graduate of the Last Decade Awardee, Sarah Lawton, MLIS Library and Information Science ’09. Sarah has worked for public libraries in Colorado, Vermont, and Wisconsin. Currently, Sarah is Neighborhood Library Supervisor at Madison Public Library (MPL) and a national leader and advocate for communities and individuals that face barriers to opportunity.
We look forward to celebrating with Sarah on April 3, 2020 at the UWM Alumni Association Awards Evening at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
