The Student Association (SA) is the student government of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The SA is run by students and for students with a mission of ensuring that student’s rights are upheld, promoting a high quality of education that is accessible to all, and enriching the student experience at UWM, through representation, advocacy, and the funding of services and activities that improve student life. For more information please visit: https://uwm.edu/studentassociation/
Program Reps is a new initiative by the Student Association to ensure every student at UWM has a voice in their student government. The SOIS Program Rep is elected by classmates in their academic program to represent their majors for the academic year. If you have a concern or issue that needs to be addressed within your course, your Program Rep can help.
If you’ve got limited time to commit, but want to make a positive impact on your campus, this is the perfect opportunity for you! This is a great way to build leadership experience and connections on campus, enhance your resume, and give back to the UWM community.
