Shaun Hayes

Archives Program Specialist

Scholar, gentleman and humanitarian, Shaun Hayes received his MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. Following that, he worked at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center as a processing and reference archivist from 2009 to 2014, when he became the Archives Program Specialist here at UWM.

Shaun is a proud son of the Midwest, having spent his formative years in the Great Black Swamp of Northwestern Ohio. He is the proud parent of two adorable cats and his interests include movies, art, music, Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace, and bicycling. He is most passionate about seeing his students succeed as archivists.
