Bio

Amy Cooper Cary is the Head of Special Collections and University Archives at the Raynor Memorial Library, Marquette University (amy.cary@marquette.edu) . She has served as an Adjunct Instructor since 2012, and served as Lecturer and Director of the SOIS Archival Studies Program from 2005 – 2012. She earned a MA in Comparative Literature from the State University of New York Binghamton, and received her MLIS – Archives and Records Management from the University of Michigan. She has served in multiple capacities in the governance of the Midwest Archives Conference and the Society of American Archivists. She has been Editor of Archival Issues, and Reviews Editor for The American Archivist. She currently serves as Reviews Editor for RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts and Cultural Heritage and is a member of the Editorial Board for The Journal of Archival Organization. Her current research centers around administrative decisions in archival processing and collecting.
