The application period is closed for the Spring 2021 semester.  The next round of applications for Fall of 2021 will begin in February.

Nonprof-IT provides students the opportunity to work with a team of peers on a technology project for a local nonprofit. Nonprof-IT is open to freshman through seniors of any major at UWM.  Credit is taken through the School of Information Studies INFOST 408 course (3 credits).  INFOST 408 is cross-listed with other majors like DAC, JAMS, and DVC for other majors internship credit. Teams consist of 4-5 students each. Projects run each fall and spring semester.

This is a one of a kind opportunity to gain real-world experience, earn course credit, and work/network with mentors from the Milwaukee business community.

Questions about applying for the program can be directed to either:
Angie Sadowsky (SOIS Academic Advisor)
Adam Hudson (SOIS Sr. Lecturer)
