To date 71 nonprofit organizations have received IT assistance and 238 students have participated. Nonprof-IT provides nonprofits with Information Technology solutions and support at no cost. In return, UWM students gain real world experience working on project teams, providing technology solutions, and receive credits toward graduation while developing a passion for service.
Projects types typically include website creation and re-design, social media assistance and campaigns, graphic design, and technology assessment. Projects are undertaken during the University’s fall and spring semesters each academic year. Interested organizations and UW-Milwaukee students are encouraged to apply for this one-of-a-kind opportunity.
