Hur-Li Lee: “Reimagining Traditional Bibliography: A Digital Humanities Project” (Grant Project, 2015-2016)

Dr. Hur-Li Lee is on a three-member research team that has received a one-year grant (approximately US$44,000) from the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan to digitize a large number of traditional Chinese bibliographies, resulting in the development of a rich database. A brainchild of Dr. Lee, the project, “Reimagining Traditional Bibliography: A Digital Humanities Project,” builds on a recent smaller grant from the Academia Sinica, the premier research institution in Taiwan. Dr. Lee’s work will result in the development of a powerful tool with dynamic search and navigation functionalities useful for scholars in knowledge organization, bibliography, intellectual history, and literature.
