Part I will speak of the three-character classic of archival work\, it is a poem written in a traditional Chinese style\, outlines this long history of the development of archival work in China. Then the tradition and modernization of China’s archival cause will be discussed\, and dualistic value concept\, the archival tradition\, the important conditions of modernization goal will be also interpreted. Moreover\, Extracurricular Science and Technology Works Competition in Archives Science will be introduced\, which is an interesting\, scientific and important event for Chinese college students majoring archives science. Part II will analyze ownership of archives in China\, that is\, state-owned archives\, collective-owned archives and individual-owned archives\, which is distinct from that of western countries.
