Description: This study explores the health information behavior of the rural community in the Kachia Grazing Reserve (KGR) located in the North West region of Nigeria. The presentation is a single case study dissertation that report the broader contextual issues of rural residents health information needs, seeking and searching behavior, the factors that influence their information seeking, the sources they use and the problem encounter along the process among two vector-borne fly diseases trypanosomiasis, and malaria. The study applied a qualitative approach sampling 50 adult participants; it relied on a triangulation data collection method using a questionnaire, interview instrument, and focus group discussion. The findings of the research revealed various forms of health information needs and seeking behavior the rural residents engaged in; it also revealed the factors that influenced their seeking and searching activities.
