More information on technology-related services and topics can always be found on our website:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/\">uwm.edu\/information-technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please check&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/it-news-events\/\">IT News<\/a>&nbsp;for UWM\u2019s technology news and updates.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-paws-maintenance-schedule\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">PAWS Maintenance Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/paws\">PAWS<\/a>\u00a0maintenance occurs on Sundays between 5 a.m. and noon. During this maintenance window, users may experience difficulties with PAWS (service disruptions, outages, etc.). UWM IT recommends avoiding critical activities during the scheduled maintenance window whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-uwm-wifi-network-updates\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">UWM WiFi Network Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June, UWM Guest, a new WiFi network, launched for guests and visitors of UWM. Students should use UWM WiFi. Please check your WiFi connection on personal devices to ensure you are using the right network. For more info on all the WiFi networks, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/wifi\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/information-technology\/wifi\/\">uwm.edu\/wifi<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-staying-safe-online\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staying Safe Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The best way to keep yourself safe online is to become more familiar with the signs of phishing scams, common scam types and how to handle a phishing email. If you are unsure about an email you receive, do not respond or click on anything. Forward the email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:abuse@uwm.edu\">abuse@uwm.edu<\/a>, and UWM\u2019s Information Security team will be able to help confirm anything suspicious.
