These prompts may not be legitimate while the system is down.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructors have been asked to&nbsp;postpone assignments due&nbsp;on&nbsp;Thursday,&nbsp;May 7,&nbsp;while this issue is addressed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft 365&nbsp;logins are not&nbsp;affected&nbsp;by this&nbsp;situation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Universities of Wisconsin Administration is working with multiple teams to address this issue on behalf of students. Information security teams and legal counsel at all levels of the UWs are engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The breach, first reported May 1, affects the cloud-based system&nbsp;operated&nbsp;by Instructure, and affects UWM and all other Universities of Wisconsin (UWs) campuses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UWM\u2019s information security team, along with UWs, will continue to actively\u00a0monitor\u00a0the situation.
