Delegate Information

The deadline for participating as a delegate has passed.

For those of you who RSVP’d as a delegate, we look forward to seeing you on Friday, October 2 for Chancellor Mark Mone’s Inauguration. Below are a number of updates that will help you plan your trip to campus. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact event planners through the contact tab.


Delegates have reserved parking in the Zelazo Parking lot to the south of the building. You do not need a parking pass. The attendant will have your name on file.


Delegates should meet at the Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts (2419 East Kenwood Blvd), Room 280, starting at 1:00 p.m. If you ordered Regalia through Josten’s, it will be available for your pick up. If you are bringing your own regalia, we will have public space available for robing. We encourage you to lock valuables in your vehicles.


Delegates need to be in regalia by 1:40 p.m., at which point the processional line will start forming. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. with the processional into the concert hall at the top of the program.


The processional will start at the back of the concert hall and end on the stage, where delegates will be seated for the ceremony. If you have any mobility challenges that make a small number of steps difficult, please let us know as soon as possible. The ceremony is scheduled to last until approximately 4:00 p.m. Delegates will exit the concert hall as part of the recessional. We kindly ask that you return rented regalia to Room 280.

Post-Ceremony Reception:

Following the ceremony, delegates are invited to join the UWM community for drinks, food, and tours of the newly dedicated Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Complex, which is located approximately two blocks away near the corner of Kenwood and Maryland Avenues. No RSVPs are required.
