A new ICFW issue brief<\/a> focuses on the role that Family Resource Centers play in helping rural families access vital supports. Rural children and adults face a\u00a0double disparity<\/em><\/strong>\u2014they disproportionately suffer from health-related concerns that are compounded by a lack of access to services, resources, and opportunities.\u00a0Results from a\u00a0recent ICFW study<\/u><\/a>\u00a0show that FRCs address these disparities by providing families with direct support, linking families to local resources, and strengthening family ties and community connections.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
