Jenna Nitkowski, MA

Research Assistant

Jenna Nitkowski is a graduate research assistant in the Social Work Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is working on several projects with the Institute for Child and Family Well-Being including the evaluation of Alternative Response in Wisconsin, which is led by Dr. Colleen Janczewski, and the evaluation of Family Drug Treatment Court in Milwaukee County, led by Dr. Joshua Mersky.

Jenna's research interests include criminology, health, research methods, statistics, and microsociology. She has worked in both the public and private sectors and also served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate sociology courses (criminology and research methods in sociology) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Jenna earned her master's degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor's degree in sociology and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in sociology.
