Nora E. Miller, MS

Research Program Manager

Nora Miller is a research program manager with the Institute for Child and Family Well-Being at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Nora's role is to advance the ICFW's research agenda through planning and coordination of new study protocols. She ensures human protections for research participants are in place, and coordinates with community partners to monitor progress of all research activities.

Prior to her work with the ICFW, Nora served as an associate researcher within the College of Health Sciences. She has more than 13 years of collaborative experience at UWM, including positions as research coordinator, laboratory manager, and student supervisor and trainer.

Nora has worked on numerous federally funded grant protocols spanning multi-site institutions.  She has provided oversight of multi-million dollar budgets with responsibilities including project logistical set up, writing and conducting training programs, providing overall daily operations support and troubleshooting.

Nora earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a master’s degrees in exercise physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
