Brighter Futures

February 2016

The ICFW team at Children’s Hospital is proud to be a Brighter Futures program for 2016. Under the leadership of the Public Policy Institute, with funding through the Department of Children and Families Office of Youth Services, Children’s is implementing evidence-based approaches with adolescents in foster care.

Children’s will implement an Adolescent Well-Being Assessment process for youth ages 12-21 in foster care, while also providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address the impact of trauma on youth functioning.
