Stabile&#8217;s\u00a0interdisciplinary research focuses on gender, race, class, and sexual orientation in media and popular culture. She is the author of <em>The Broadcast 41: Women and the Anti-Communist Blacklist\u00a0<\/em>(2018),\u00a0<em>White Victims, Black Villains: Gender, Race, and Crime News in US Culture<\/em>\u00a0(2006), and\u00a0<em>Feminism and the Technological Fix<\/em> (1994).
