A George F. Kennan Distinguished Lecture Series by Lydia H.Liu

Lydia H. Liu is Wun Tsun Tam Professor in the Humanities at Columbia University. Liu will discuss how the struggle over moral ideas and their translation across cultures has impacted modern international politics. Revisiting the multilingual making of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, she’ll reflect on the future of moral ideas in the coming multipolar world.
