{"id":6365,"date":"2026-06-30T15:18:46","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T20:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hr\/?p=6365"},"modified":"2026-06-30T15:20:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T20:20:00","slug":"pay-plan-increase-06-28-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hr\/pay-plan-increase-06-28-26\/","title":{"rendered":"Pay Plan Increase E\ufb00ective June 28, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the 2025-27 Wisconsin budget, the pay plan was approved to include a 2% wage increase for Universities of Wisconsin employees, e\ufb00ective June 28, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For eligible 12-month and hourly employees, the base adjustment will be implemented on June 28, 2026, and payments will appear on the July 23, 2026, paycheck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For 9-month (academic year) employees, the adjustment will be implemented on Aug. 24, 2026, and will appear on the Sept. 17, 2026, paycheck.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All eligible employees who are in active status as of the implementation dates are eligible to receive the pay plan adjustment, per UW policy SYS 1278. General eligibility criteria for the pay plan require solid performance, completion of outside activities reporting (if applicable) and completion of UW mandatory training requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/uw-policies\/uw-system-administrative-policies\/uw-system-pay-plan-distribution-framework-for-university-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UW System Pay Plan Distribution Framework for University Workforce SYS 1278<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/uw-policies\/uw-system-administrative-policies\/mandatory-employee-training-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mandatory Employee Training SYS 1293<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about the Pay Plan, including the policy, the implementation guidelines, and the FAQ, please see:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hr\/pay-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pay Plan<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the pay plan is processed, employees will receive a notification in Workday about their pay plan increase.
