Programs offered this month include webinars on burnout, ending mental health stigma (Make it OK), and caregiver awareness in addition to a walking series and midday relaxation breaks. With each person who completes the training, UWM develops its network of individuals who are prepared to assist in identifying and supporting individuals in crisis. It\u2019s okay to do Part 1 without Part 2 (though Part 2 is highly recommended).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/wellness\/health-promotion\/emotional-health\/suicide-prevention-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Suicide Prevention Training<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part One: Online Training via Canvas \u2014 UW-System\u2019s Recognize, Respond, Refer: Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty and Staff, an asynchronous online training builds awareness, knowledge, and skills about mental health and suicide prevention.
