Professional development is offered for all employees, including training specifically for supervisors. Professional development is offered in different formats including live webinars, self-paced e-learning courses, and in-person sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online Sessions for Supervisors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

UWM requires all individuals new to supervision at UWM to complete supervisor training within two years of hire. Currently, trainings that meet this requirement include the UW’s Principles of Supervision and Management training or UWM’s HR-Sponsored Professional Development Sessions for Supervisors. The listed sessions all contribute to the supervisory training requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
