UWM offers learning and development opportunities that equip leaders with the knowledge and skills to cultivate positive employee experiences. Supervisors promote high engagement, performance, and retention to position teams to drive unit and organizational success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UWM requires all individuals new to supervision at UWM to complete supervisor training within two years of hire, in accordance with UW System Administrative Policy SYS 1240 6.B. Currently, trainings that meet this requirement include UWM\u2019s New Supervisor Training Program or the UW\u2019s Principles of Supervision and Management Cohort. UWM also encourages continuous learning, offering additional sessions and resources throughout the year for mid-career and experienced supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training is offered in different formats including live webinars, self-paced e-learning courses, and in-person sessions. Descriptions, dates, and times and registration details will be provided here and in campus communications as they are available. We look forward to you joining us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
