Participation in the UW-Milwaukee group health insurance policy through ASA is required for all UW-Milwaukee registered international students and is available to scholars, international faculty and staff and visiting international high school students, holding non-immigrant visas. The only exception to this is if a foreign national has a position within UWM that qualifies for full time employee health insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ASA health insurance plan provides continuous protection, 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world during the period of coverage for which the proper premium has been paid.
