 One Class: $30
 Two Classes: $55
 Three Classes: $75
 Four Classes: $100
(Each fitness class is a series of eight sessions.)

Payment

Payments are due by Friday, February 1. Please pay by check, or cash, in the exact amount, as change cannot be given. Checks should be made out to UW-Milwaukee and delivered to Engelmann Hall, Room 125, Attention: Marissa Trgo.

Reminder

If you have any health issues or if you do not regularly engage in physical activity we recommend that you consult with your physician BEFORE beginning an exercise program. There will be NO refunds issued after the start of the classes listed above. Also be mindful of others that may be on the waiting list for these classes. If after registration you cannot attend, please cancel your registration by contacting the Wellness Team at wellness-events@uwm.edu.


Please Note

No classes will be held during Spring Break, March 17 – 23. Classes will resume the week starting March 24th. See above for session dates.

For the yoga and piyo classes please bring a mat. Exercise mats can be purchased at stores such as: Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, TJ Maxx, R.E.I., Lululemon, or Walmart.

Class Descriptions

Yoga

Yoga practice is an excellent way to build strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance while at the same time bringing our attention to what we’re doing in the body, quieting the mind and reducing stress. All ability levels welcome. Please bring a mat to class.

PiYo

PiYo is a total-body fitness system designed to whip you into shape from head to toe. It combines the muscle sculpting features of Pilates and the flexibility of Yoga to help you develop lean muscles, build strength and balance in a fluid low-impact sequence packed into a 45-minute class. Enjoy the music, the workout, and yourself at PiYo. Please bring a mat to class.

Zumba

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That is exactly what the Zumba class is all about. It is an exhilarating, effective, easy to follow, Latin-inspired calorie-burning dance fitness party that is moving people toward joy and health. All ability levels welcome.

Pilates

Pilates focuses on a body conditioning routine that helps to improve core control, coordination, balance, and posture through body awareness. The goal is to use effective movement strategies to build long, lean muscles and increase flexibility and coordination. There will be different movements which are performed seated, standing, on all fours, or lying on your back, side, or front. Everyone can benefit from Pilates, regardless of physical abilities size, shape, gender or age. Please bring a mat to class.
