Pilates focuses on a body conditioning routine that helps to improve core control, coordination, balance, and posture through body awareness. The goal is to use effective movement strategies to build long, lean muscles and increase flexibility and coordination. There will be different movements which are performed seated, standing, on all fours, or lying on your back, side, or front. Everyone can benefit from Pilates, regardless of physical abilities size, shape, gender or age. Please bring a mat to class.
