Your Move-In Time

Purin will move in from January 18-20, 2020.

Move-in Day

Check-in will take place at Sandburg Hall (3400 N. Maryland Ave.). After getting your keys, you can proceed to Purin Hall (2600 E. Kenwood Blvd.) where you will need to find street parking. (it is your responsibility to follow all parking signs and to pay any meters).

Directions

For the ease of traffic flow (and because we don’t know what snowfall will look like), we ask you use these directions instead of any other GPS or map service’s directions. From I-43, take the Capitol Drive exit and proceed East. Follow Capitol Drive across the Milwaukee River until you reach Downer Avenue. Turn right on Downer and proceed south to Kenwood Boulevard. Purin will be on your left.

Security & Guest Policies

Entrances to Purin are locked 24 hours a day, and residents are expected to escort their guests as they enter and exit the building. Residents are responsible for their guests’ conduct. It is the resident’s responsibility to inform his/her guests of University Housing policies. Purin residents may enter Cambridge, RiverView and Sandburg, with their student ID until midnight.

Room Furnishings & Dimensions

Each student is provided with a bed frame, mattress (extra long), mattress pad, desk, chair, dresser, and wastebasket. Each suite has a semi-private bathroom, and residents are expected to maintain clean and sanitary conditions. All rooms have window blinds and carpet. All furniture must remain in the resident’s room. A microwave is provided in the kitchen of each suite. More info about Purin Hall is available online. Depending on your suite, dimensions may vary slightly.
