Honors Student Hugo Ljungbäck has a film that will be showcased at the 72nd Student Film and Video Festival at UWM on Friday, May 12th at 7:00 PM.

Hugo states, “When I Was Four reenacts a distant childhood memory of the first night in a new home, and relates it to an adolescent experience, in hope to uncover what truth the memory holds, if any.

In When I Was Four, I explore my memories of moving from Lund to Hässleholm as a child, and spending my first night in our new home with my mother. I contrast that narrative to my memories of moving to Milwaukee as an international student.”
