On October 17^th, UWM Study Abroad Coordinator Yomarie Castellano will be hosting a one hour seminar on the programs being offered through her office. This includes exchange programs, and study aboard programs for Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. There are plenty of global programs for STEM students as well as other majors.

The seminar will also include Honors College Alum Tom Mitchell, who is the Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship Alumni Ambassador for the U.S. Department of State. Tom participated in the old Honors Study Abroad Program at the Bader International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle in the Southern UK in the summer of 2013. Tom will share how study abroad and the Gilman Scholarship and Alumni Program has impacted him personally and academically.

The Gilman Scholarship program is funded by the U.S. Department of State for students who American citizens receiving the Pell Grant. Tom will also elaborate more on the dynamics of this scholarship and how it can affect your future.

The UWM Study Abroad Seminar will be held in Honors House 196 at 3:30 PM
