Third Annual Monster Conference

The Third Annual Monster Conference was a showcase of original artistic and academic work, all of it dealing with the topics of monsters and monstrosity. Eight students from the UWM Honors College and one student from UW-Waukesha participated. In addition, five faculty members affiliated with the Honors College also gave informal talks on their own research interests. The subjects ranged from pollutants as monsters to the monsters of mental illness, to Japanese ghost stories and the history of bodysnatching in Wisconsin
