Dr. Vang speaks of the Hmong people&#8217;s involvement with U.S. troops in Laos, Vietnam, as well as other countries of that region, and how she came about to move to the Great Lakes region of the United States. Chia also talks about her early education and how the people who supported her inspired her to become an educator.
