Kathleen Olewinski attained national board certification as a healthcare executive through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) in 1998, and advanced to her current credential as Fellow in 2008.
She is also a licensed nursing home administrator (NHA) and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), and former hospital administrator with more than 30 years of executive leadership and management experience in traditional and nontraditional health care settings and academia.
As a speaker at national and state conferences, topics presented have included professional mentorship, confidentiality and legal issues in mental health and substance abuse, as well as consultation related to accreditation and compliance.
Current research focuses on the impact of professional association involvement and mentoring on early career success.
