We know that many who work in the nonprofit sector do so for the love and passion of a specific cause. <\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">Along with the <a title=\"Nonprofit Management Studies\" href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/yapl3e\/ac219ub\/u7re4z\">Institute for Nonprofit Management Studies at UW-Whitewater<\/a>, the Helen Bader Institute (HBI) for Nonprofit Management at the University of Wisconsin \u2013 Milwaukee firmly believes that nonprofit employees should be appropriately compensated for the great work they do in making a positive difference in the lives of Wisconsin residents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">Information about employee compensation and benefits is one of the top requests we get at HBI. Based on these requests, we acknowledge that last year\u2019s crises have made considerable impacts on nonprofits regarding compensation and benefits. In response to your needs, we are launching this survey to provide timely and relevant information \u2013 focused on nonprofits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\">With that, our<span class=\"e2ma-style\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hbi\/research\/survey\/\"><strong> Wisconsin Nonprofit Compensation and Benefits Survey <\/strong><\/a>will be distributed <strong>May 3 \u2013 June 25, 2021<\/strong>, to nonprofits throughout Wisconsin. The subsequent report will provide nonprofits with valuable compensation and benefits data to inform their organizations and employees\u2019 critical decisions. Nonprofits that participate in the forthcoming survey will receive a free copy of the report.<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>Why is this survey critical?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">Your organization\u2019s employees are its greatest asset. How you compensate your most significant asset impacts your organization\u2019s overall performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">This survey is key to evaluating your organization\u2019s compensation and benefits strategy to help attract and retain the best talent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>When will the report be published?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">The Compensation &amp; Benefits Survey Report is scheduled for release in Fall 2021.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>Is this survey confidential?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">We will anonymize all data for reporting purposes. Any organizational identifiers will be kept separate from sensitive information. We will only use data and to:<\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">help screen for duplicates.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">determine whether or not your organization will receive a free copy of the subsequent report.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>General Instructions:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Please provide the most current employment, salary, and benefits data, unless otherwise directed.<\/li>\n<li>Please ignore questions about positions your organization does not have.<\/li>\n<li>For the appropriate questions, please use numbers only and omit any symbols (e.g., $, %, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>This is an institutional survey. Each nonprofit organization should only respond ONCE. If you are NOT the organization&#8217;s executive director or a designated staff member (such as the CFO or HR director), please check with the executive director before entering any data to coordinate your nonprofit&#8217;s response.<\/li>\n<li>It is recommended to complete this survey on a desktop computer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your responses are automatically saved to the computer you started working on.
