This ongoing study aims to provide real-time data to government officials, foundations, and other decision-makers about the current social and economic conditions facing nonprofits and the need for immediate and long-term support. More information on the overall project can be <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hbi\/research\/survey\/\">found on the HBI website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This involves a series of follow-up surveys into 2021 to track change, stimulus funding effectiveness, and overall sector recovery. Participants are encouraged to take part throughout the project to provide a stronger understanding of how their organizations, and the sector overall, are managing through these challenges. The report on the findings of Survey #1, which ran April 14-29, <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/hbi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/435\/2020\/05\/COVID-19-IFinal-051820.pdf\">can be downloaded here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Survey:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Expected Completion time: 7-10 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Completion deadline: Midnight on July 26, 2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You do not need to have completed Survey #1 to take part in Survey #2<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>This survey will only be made available on July 13-26, 2020.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Only one survey per nonprofit is requested &#8211; preferably completed by the lead paid staff person or volunteer with knowledge of the organization&#8217;s budget and finances.<\/li>\n<li>Survey requests may be sent by multiple organizations to ensure reach to as many nonprofits as possible.
