This can include student behavior, construction issues, or general questions about the university. We also share UWM event information with neighborhood associations on the east side. UWM sends staff to neighborhood meetings and special events. They answer questions and share the latest news about campus projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sign up for periodic email updates for neighbors by emailing <a href=\"mailto:neighborhood-relations-group@uwm.edu\">neighborhood-relations-group@uwm.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-municipal-issues\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Municipal Issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We work with several groups on key neighborhood issues. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Milwaukee Police Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Department of Neighborhood Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Department of Public Works<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local neighborhood associations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-campus-engagement\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Campus Engagement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are the liaison to the neighborhoods around campus. We work with city and local officials.
