To declare a major, complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the Declaration of Major form button below. (Link leaves site.)
  2. Fill out the Declaration of Major form.
  3. Submit the Declaration of Major form.

What happens next?

  1. An undergraduate faculty advisor will receive your submitted request to declare French as a major and will contact you to schedule an advising appointment.
  2. After your advising appointment, your request to declare French as a major will be approved (unless otherwise stated) and filed as part of your student record. 
  3. You have officially declared French as a major! Welcome to the French program!
