Department of Global Studies welcomes Arabic and Japanese programs

The Department of Global Studies is delighted to welcome the Arabic and Japanese programs into the department! With this move, the Arabic minor, the Japanese minor, and Committee Interdisciplinary Major in Japanese become part of the program array within the department, expanding the global focus and cross-cultural connections represented by our teaching and research.

We look forward to the expanded programming that these moves will foster, and we could not be more excited to continue to build our collaborative work with colleagues Dr. Khuloud LabaniehMasako LackeyDr. Fahed MasalkhiDr. Aragorn Quinn, and Yuko Kojima Wert, and to welcome Yuyan (April) Jiang as a new instructor of Japanese at UWM.
