Geo100 Introduction to the Earth

This 3-credit course covers the study of earth processes and materials as they relate to man and the environment. Topics covered in the lab include but are not limited to: rock types, mineral identification, topographic maps, earthquakes, glaciers and geologic time.

There is a voluntary field trip to the Devil’s Lake State Park and Rock Springs, Wisconsin for which a fee is assessed.

This course fulfills the NS+ requirement for a natural science course with a lab.
