Nick Fedorchuk and Emily Joynt earn Fellowship for the 2016-17 School Year

Emily Joynt was awarded an AOP (Advanced Opportunity Program) Fellowship for the 2016-17 academic year. Emily is an M.S. student working on a hydrogeological project under the guidance of Adjunct Professor Weon Shik Han and Professor Tim Grundl. Her work is on factors controlling diffusive CO2 transport and production in the Cedarburg Bog, Saukville, Wisconsin.

Nick Fedorchuk

Nick Fedorchuk was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Student Fellowship from the Graduate School at UWM for the 2016-17 academic year. Nick is a Ph.D. student working on a sedimentologic, stratigraphic, and paleoclimatic project under the guidance of Professor John Isbell. His work is on understanding the size and timing of late Paleozoic glacial advances in the ParanĂ¡ Basin in Brazil.
