Levi Moxness and Kurt Quamme Defend MS Theses

On Thursday July 28, 2016, two graduate students successfully defended their MS theses.

Levi Moxness presented his work titled, “Sedimentology of the mid-Carboniferous basal fill of the Olta paleovalley, eastern Paganzo basin, Argentina.” His advisor is Dr. John Isbell and his other committee members are Dr. Dyanna Czeck and Dr. J. Elmo Rawling (Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey).

Kurt Quamme presented his work titled, “Point of use biosand filters of the rural Dominican Republic.” His advisor is Dr. Shangping Xu and his other committee members are Dr. Sandra McLellan (School of Freshwater Sciences) and Dr. Yin Wang (Dept. of Civil & Environmental Engineering).
