What is Hard Rock Lunch? It is a weekly gathering of UWM Geosciences folks to share our love for Hard Rock geology, as very loosely defined (we’ve had plenty of soils, sed, and water folks join us in previous years). Typically one person (student or Faculty) takes the lead and gives a presentation each week- an update on their research, a practice conference talk, a presentation on a cool new paper, slides from their summer vacation that happen to include a rock somewhere in the background, etc. We chat about it and provide feedback- all very low-key. You can actively participate or you can lurk.
