BS student Duncan Glasford Receives a Grant, Scholarship, and Honors!

Duncan Glasford is a BS student in Geosciences who has several notable achievements this month.  First, he received notice from the North-Central Section of the Geological Society of America that he has been awarded an undergraduate research grant of $100.  Next, he has been selected to receive the UWM Alumni Association’s Patricia H. Weisberg Innovation Scholarship Award of $1000 in recognition of his innovative and creative abilities.  Both of these awards were in recognition of his ongoing research project on “Influence of Geology on Organic Constituents in Beer.”  His research mentors are Dr. Barry Cameron and Dr. Dyanna Czeck.  And finally, on April 23, he is also being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, an honor society for liberal arts and sciences that is widely recognized as the most prestigious in the nation.  He was selected for Phi Beta Kappa based on his academic achievements.  Congratulations, Duncan!  Prost!
