Emma Ehrlich

Emma Ehrlich is a Water Policy Specialist and Sea Grant UW Water Science-Policy Fellow at the Center for Water Policy. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota School of Law where she completed a concentration in Environmental and Energy Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester.

In law school, Emma interned for the Department of Justice, the Minnesota Land Trust, and Earthjustice. She was a clinical student at the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy. She was also a board member of the Environmental and Energy Law Society.

At the Center for Water Policy, Emma performs water law and policy research. One area of focus is coastal resilience in the Great Lakes region. Emma also coordinates the Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin Water Policy Network.

In her free time, Emma enjoys trying new restaurants, swimming in lakes, and spending time with friends.
