Our Water Community Film event at Avalon Theater April 25

The Avalon Atmospheric Theater & Lounge will host Our Water, a Saturday morning special event on April 25 featuring films about our relationship to our most precious natural resource.

Our Water features films by School of Freshwater Sciences alumni Michael Timm, as well as Dr. Rebecca Klaper, Claudia Looze, Jenny Plevin and the Milwaukee Water Commons, and a talk by historian John Gurda.

The newly renovated Avalon Atmospheric Theater & Lounge is located in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood at 2473 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Tickets to Our Water are $11 ($10 plus a $1 online processing fee). Advance tickets are recommended. The films are suitable for all ages. The event is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m.
