New Minor in Freshwater Sciences expands undergrad offerings

The School of Freshwater Sciences has created a freshwater sciences minor open to current and incoming University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee undergraduate students.

The new, 18-credit program includes both required foundational courses and a range of electives that will allow students to customize the minor based on their area of interest, such as ecology, climate or water policy. For more information on the program, which welcomes its first students this fall, please visit our freshwater sciences minor page.

The announcement follows on the heels of adding a major in freshwater sciences, the school’s first undergraduate degree program, last August.
