UWM Hosts Wisconsin Regional ROV Competition

The School of Freshwater Sciences will host the Wisconsin ROV Competition at the UWM Klotsche Center. The annual competition uses underwater robots, also known as remotely operated vehicles or ROVs, to teach science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and prepare students for technical careers. In addition to engineering their ROVs, middle and high school students prepare technical reports, poster displays, and product presentations that are delivered to working professionals who serve as competition judges.

The event is open to the public.
