Freshwater Colloquium: Water and Nutrient Recycling in Regenerative Farming

Steven Summerfelt, chief science officer at Superior Fresh LLC, will present “Water and Nutrient Recycling When Producing Salmon and Salad Greens in a Regenerative Farming Model at Superior Fresh.” 

This presentation is open to the public.

Summerfelt manages the scientific research and technological designs of Superior Fresh. He is passionate about controlled environment farming systems and minimizing their impact on the environment. Superior Fresh is an industry-leading aquaponics facility specializing in producing Atlantic salmon and steelhead trout in a state-of-the-art land-based recirculation aquaculture facility in conjunction with premium, organic produce grown in an ultra-modern hydroponics glass greenhouse.
